This totally dielectric distribution cable for optical networks has a central loose tube structure cover by a polyethylene sheath and fiberglass reinforcements. PBT loose tubes are filled with a thixotropic filling compound and other waterblocking elements avoids water penetration inside the tube/ cable. Fiberglass elements as mechanical reinforcements provides rodent protection. The optical fibers comply with ITU-T recommendations G.652.D.
