The LC/UPC-LC/UPC Fiber Patch Cord Duplex MM OM3 2.0mm 1m aqua (Part number: 2LCU-LCU.M3-2DXJ1.1mA) from Mikrolink Fiber is a Duplex patch cord with LC/UPC connector at one side and a LC/UPC connector at the other one. Fiber patch cords are a type of cables that have two connectors on both ends. Optic patch cords can come in simplex (1 fiber), duplex (2 fibers) or in MPO (12 fibers). The connectors on both sides of the patch cord, allow it to be quickly connected to another device such as an optical switch or other telecommunications/computer device.

Fiber Type (ITU) - OM3 G.651.1

OM3 (Optical Multimode 3) is a type of multimode fiber defined by the G.651.1 standard. It has a core diameter of 50 microns and is designed for higher-bandwidth applications over longer distances than OM2, supporting up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 300 meters and 40 Gbps over distances of up to 100 meters. OM3 is commonly used for data center and enterprise networks and is optimized for use with VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) sources.
