Product Description

The Mini bridger amplifier (GaN hybrid, gain: 35, 40, 46 dB, DF modules and return path hybrid) DOCSIS 3.1 NETWORKS (Part number: MB12XXD-XX-XX) from Comtech is a HFC Amplifiers. Hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) Amplifier is a device used to amplify signals flowing in both directions, also it used at intervals to overcome cable attenuation and passive losses of the electrical signals caused by splitting or tapping the coaxial cable.

The MB1200 bridger amplifier works with 2 independent output stages, the second one can be divided symmetrically or asymmetrically by a passive module. They have a common ASG control option, while 2 independently fed lines have 2 independently managed automatic ingress switches. The device is available with 4 different gain values. Based on this and on the modular style this amplifier can act as a keypart of a larger CATV network.
