4f Extralink Aerial Fiber Optic Cable 4j Sm G652 D Diameter 4,7mm 0,5kn With Frp Fujikura Fibers Inside
The 4FO (4X1) Aerial Loose tube Fiber Optic Cable OS2 G.652.D PVC Black (Part number: EX.8871) from Extralink with 4FO. All-dielectric self-supporting cable (ADSS) is strong enough to support itself between poles, being used in optical networks, in self supported overhead power lines, suspended on poles or mounted on buildings being the best solution for quick and low-cost installations since the poles are already mounted from legacy networks.
Aerial fibre optic cable single-mode is a cable with a diameter of 4.7 mm, with the number of fibres 4 type G652D and tensile strength 0.5 kN. The product is packaged on shapes after 2000 m, the price is calculated for 1 meter. Optical fibre optic cables are used for external overhead installation, most often hung on poles of power lines and urban electric transport lines.
Optical fibre self-carrying is characterised by resistance to severe weather conditions and temperature differences. Its construction has been reinforced with two FRP rods (fiber reinforced plastic) from reference manufacturer Fujikura. The outer sheath of fiber optic cables made of polyethylene is resistant to solar radiation.

Each type of single-mode fiber has its own area of application, and the evolution of these optical fiber specifications reflects the evolution of transmission system technology from the earliest installation of single-mode optical fiber to the present day. Choose the right fiber is very important for each project/installation. The specification of the OS2 fiber is generally considered as the SMF standard for the single-mode fiber. For the OS2 G.652 fiber there are 4 subcategories: G.652.A, G.652.B, G.652.C, G.652.D.
The OS2 G.652.D single-mode fibers are the most used type of fiber for networking and communications applications. The OS2 G.652.D fiber type provides a zero dispersion at 1310nm wavelength therefor it is optimized for operation in the 1310nm Wavelength. The regular performance remains on the 1550nm wavelength.
Benefits of using the OS2 G.652.D fibers:
While using a loose tube construction in cables, you can:
The loose tube construction solution can be chosen for the following applications:
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a common jacket material that provides excellent protection against moisture, abrasion, and chemicals. It is flexible, durable, and cost-effective, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to industrial machinery. However, PVC can release toxic fumes when burned, and it is not as heat-resistant as other materials, which may limit its use in certain high-temperature environments.
