Extralink Patchcord LC/UPC-SC/APC SM Simplex 3.0MM 2M
The Extralink LC/UPC-SC/APC | Patchcord | Single Mode, Simplex, 3mm, 2m (Part number: EX.1391) from Extralink is a Simplex patch cord with LC/UPC connector at one side and a SC/APC connector at the other one. Fiber patch cords are a type of cables that have two connectors on both ends. Optic patch cords can come in simplex (1 fiber), duplex (2 fibers) or in MPO (12 fibers). The connectors on both sides of the patch cord, allow it to be quickly connected to another device such as an optical switch or other telecommunications/computer device.
Single-mode patchcord with a length of 1m, cable diameter of 3mm, terminated with LC/UPC-SC/APC connectors is used to connect optical network equipment such as switches or converters. It contains bidirectional transmission. Patchcords are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT devices.

A Simplex configuration is a type of cabling arrangement commonly used in data centers and telecommunication networks. It consists of a single cable , terminated with a connector at each end. It is normally used in Half Duplex or Full Duplex data transmitions.
LC FO Connector is a small form factor fiber optic connector that uses a 1,25mm ceramic ferrule to align and connect optical fibers. Used in high-speed communication networks.Provides low insertion loss and high return loss. The connector is easy to install and provides a secure and reliable connection for both single-mode and multimode fiber optic cables. Its compact size makes it ideal for applications where space is limited, such as data centers, telecommunication rooms, and fiber-to-the-home installations.
UPC (Ultra Phisical Contact), is a type of polishing procedure that makes a connical end face ferrule minimizing the interference of dust particules in the connectors mate. It as a Return loss >-50dB. UPC connectors may only be mated with other UPC or PC connectors. It can be identified by the blue boot and is used in single-mode and multi-mode fibers.
