Extralink SFP+-ZR is designed for 8.5G/10G and 10GBE fibers. The single-mode SFP optical module consists of two sections, i.e. the transmitter section containing an EML laser and the receiver section consisting of an APD photo diode integrated with TIA. All modules meet the safety requirements for a Class I laser. The digital diagnostic functions of the SFP+-ZR are available via a 2-wire serial interface, allowing real-time access to operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser beam current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and power supply voltage of the SFP single-mode insert. The SFP+ 10G module can operate with a data transfer rate of ≤4.25 Gbps or from 9.95 Gbps to 11.3 Gbps.
