This distribution cable for optical networks has a loose tube structure, a UV stable polyethylene sheath with one ripcord underneath, a water blocking E-glass yarn and aramid yarn to prevent the progression of water inside the cable and a polyethylene coated FRP dielectric central strength member for mechanical reinforcement. The optical fibers comply with ITU-T recommendations G.652.D.
