Extralink Betty 4 Core Fiber Optic Distribution Box
The Extralink Betty | Fiber optic distribution box | 4 core (Part number: EX.0790) from Extralink is a Multi Dwelling Units (MDU) that allow connection between multiple operators and customers. Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) has the purpose of being installed in buildings and to distribute optical fiber to the end users. It allows the connection between the cable that comes from the street to the riser cable. A basic multi dwelling unit have one operator box and one customer box and boxes of both types that can be added quickly in case of necessity.
EXTRALINK BETTY 4 CORE serves as an end point of the power cable that connects to the drop cable in the FTTx communication network system. The fiber optic box can be used for fiber linking, splitting and distribution. It also provides solid protection and gives the possibility to manage the FTTx network building.
The earthing device is insulated together with the housing. The insulation resistance is not less than 2 104 M/500 V (DC); IR2 104 M/500 V. The static voltage between the earthing device and the housing is not less than 3000 V(DC)/min, without any puncture: U3000 V.
