The inner sheath is of polyethylene material and the outer sheath has a tracking resistant compound, which allows a tracking resistant up to 25kV according to specification IEEE P 1222 §3.7 Class B, Test requirement §4.1.13, 5.1.13 and Annex A. It has also aramid yarns as peripheral strenght elements. The glass fiber is reinforced with plastic rod (FRP). The optical fibers comply with ITU-T recomendations G.657A1.
